28. eQuinoxe Europe e. V. Intl. Screenwriters’ Workshop in Bavaria, Germany
Munich, October 6, 2023. The 28th edition of the renowned International Screenwriters' Workshop of eQuinoxe Europe e. V. will take place in Bayerisch Gmain in Bavaria, Germany, from October 13 to 20, 2023. The screenwriters and producers at this year's workshop include 7 European nationalities representing Germany, Austria, Ireland, Finland, Luxembourg, Czech Republic and Cyprus. For one week, the authors and their producers will meet in the inspiring landscape of the Bavarian mountains for a concentrated, creative exchange with internationally renowned screenwriting professionals.

The Intl. Screenwriters' Workshop takes place annually. Established screenwriters can apply with their project to the non-profit association with their developed scripts. A total of seven projects will participate and have the opportunity to talk to experienced advisors from all over the world about their projects - with the aim of developing good stories into compelling screenplays. To ensure the greatest possible cross-cultural experience for the participants, the workshops are held in different locations and countries in Europe (e.g., in Murnau am Staffelsee (DEU), in Balestrand (NOR) or most recently in Lisbon (PRT)).
The renowned international advisors have been supporting eQuinoxe Europe e.V. since 2004 with their involvement without remuneration.

eQuinoxe Europe e.V. was founded in 2001 under the name eQuinoxe Germany e.V. by Ellen Winn Wendl, Susan Schulte and Susanne Schneider with the vision to support European screenwriters in script development and to create a network of international screenwriters. In 2013, after 12 years of successful international collaboration and workshops in various European countries and with advisors from all over the world, the association was renamed eQuinoxe Europe e.V..
Since 2015, Lord Puttnam CBE has been Honorary Chairman of eQuinoxe Europe.
To date, eQuinoxe Europe has successfully supported more than 250 projects from 23 countries. In the last 20 years, participating film productions have been represented at all major international film festivals, and numerous projects have been nominated for and awarded national and international film prizes. 9 films were submitted for the Oscar, 2 were nominated, “The Counterfeiters” received the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film.
