Launch of the "Coffee Break Series" from March 1, 2024
London, March 1, 2024. eQuinoxe Europe e. V. is releasing exclusive video and audio material from their past workshops for the first time. Their Master Classes have had renowned screenwriters including David Magee (Life of Pi, Finding Neverland) and Danny Rubin (Groundhog Day) as well as award-winning producer David Puttnam (Killing Fields, The Mission) who held seminars and passed on valuable experience from their work. Under the title Coffee Break Series, eQuinoxe Europe e. V. is launching a concentrated compilation of individual master classes with different thematic emphasis every six weeks on its website.
"As a Coffee Break Series these 15- to 30-minute videos and podcasts, representing the diversity of the eQuinoxe program, are available at no charge." states Chairman of the Board Ellen Winn Wendl. "You can be inspired by the range of content - perfect for a creative break in your workday."

In 23 years since its foundation, eQuinoxe Europe has held over 38 Master Classes in conjunction with its Intl. Screenwriters’ Workshops in 25 different locations in 9 European countries, Australia and India. A number of which were recorded.The new format of the Coffee Break Series is drawing from this collection.

eQuinoxe Europe e.V. was founded in 2001 under the name eQuinoxe Germany e.V. by Ellen Winn Wendl, Susan Schulte and Susanne Schneider with the vision to support European screenwriters in script development and to create a network of international filmmakers. In 2013, the association was renamed eQuinoxe Europe e.V..
Since 2015, Lord Puttnam CBE has been Honorary Chairman of eQuinoxe Europe.
To date, eQuinoxe Europe has successfully supported more than 260 projects from 23 countries as part of its International Screenwriters’ Workshops. In the last 23 years, participants and their films have been represented at all major international film festivals, and numerous projects have been nominated for and awarded national and international film prizes. 9 films were submitted for the Oscar, 2 were nominated, 1 film received the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film.
